About us

The MidCoast Human Resources Association (MCHRA) is an organization of human resource professionals from both small and large organizations with specialist and generalist backgrounds. MCHRA is a chapter of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).


The purpose of MCHRA is to advance the human resources profession by providing opportunities for Human Resources practitioners to gain knowledge in the field and to exchange experience through networking with other professionals and organizations. This will be accomplished through meetings, programs, forums and other means deemed advisable by the membership or the Board of Directors.


The MCHRA is governed by a Board of Directors who are voted into office each year. The Board consists of a President, President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, and Immediate Past-President.
